American Metals has a 48 inch wide, single-coat paint line capable of coating cold rolled, hot-dipped galvanized, electro galvanized steel, tin plate and aluminum substrates. We specialize in light-gauge metal; however, we are capable of processing thickness of .006 to .060 inches on most substrates. Customers may specify polyester, siliconized polyester, fluorocarbon, urethane, etc. painted finishes for their products. Once coated, the metal can be slit to your exact specifications. Our 48 inch slitter can handle metals from .006 to .048 inches.
At American Metals, we use a state-of-the-art coil tracking system that incorporates a computerized barcode system to closely monitor your product throughout processing. Through this innovative technology, we can keep you informed on the exact status of your material from arrival to delivery.

Paintline runs over 50 standard colors but has run over 600 different colors in past years.
Slitter performs 65-85 different set-ups per month to service primarily the suspended ceiling business.
The line is equipped with a state-of-the-art Strand Extensioner for high quality leveling of the slit material.
