American Metals is located on 47 acres in Westlake, Ohio, fifteen miles west of Cleveland. The property is less than a half mile from beautiful Lake Erie and the Ohio shoreline. As a division of USG Corporation, American Metals has an 110,000 SF facility for coil coating operations and USG Westlake Plant has 350,000 SF for suspended ceiling manufacturing operations. The coil coating operation can house approximately 28 million pounds of metal under roof. The facility can hold approximately 35,000 gallons of paint for production in a class 1, division 1 explosion proof building.
